For those of you looking for fast and simple TouchWiz-based custom ROM for your T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4, definitely check out the Rapture ROM.
Based on latest Android 5.0.1 Lollipop T-Mobile firmware, the Rapture ROM brings you a ton of speed and lag-free experience (especially for those of you who install lots of apps) with excellent battery life.
As my T-Mobile Note 4 is actually my daily driver, I wanted to find a good Lollipop ROM that was faster than the stock Lollipop ROM which I felt slowed down when I installed a lot of apps. After trying many different ROMs, I ended up with the Rapture ROM.
This ROM also brings you unlocked native WiFi Tether, call recording, and some more features. It does not have as much customization as some other ROMs on the market but I really like the fact that it’s the fastest ROM I’ve tried with great battery life.
For Antutu benchmarks, I was able to score 52,000, which is the highest I’ve gotten so far, and this is all without any overclocking. You should be able to get even more with a custom kernel, which I should also have an update soon.
Overall, this is a fantastic ROM for those of you who want a fast ROM and stay on TouchWiz so definitely give this guy a go this week(end) and do let me know what you think!
*Note – This ROM has WiFi calling since it’s based on T-Mobile firmware.
