CM12 ROM for Galaxy Note 4! [Lollipop 5.0.2]

For those of you looking to enhance your Galaxy Note 4 by installing a pure Google custom ROM, look nowhere else than CM12 ROM by XDA user Slayher.

The CM12 ROM brings you the best and latest Android Lollipop 5.0.2 to your Note 4.  Of course, this is still in beta stages but I’ve used it as daily driver fine with no problems other than no NFC and 4K video recording.

This particular build is for the T-Mobile Note 4 SM-N910T but it should be flashable/compatible with any Qualcomm-based Note 4 phones like the SM-N910F or Sprint SM-N910P.  (Just don’t flash on any Exynos-based Note 4, you may end up with a hard brick and a dead weight.)  The dangers for cross-flashing is minimal (actually none based on my experience) so long as you flash on Qualcomm-based Note 4.  Also, if you have AT&T or Verizon Note 4, you are out of luck as the bootloader is locked and you can’t even install CWM or TWRP recovery (unless you have the developer’s version but who buys that?).

So, if you do have SM-N910F or Sprint SM-N910P, please do try flashing and make sure to make a backup ROM beforehand.  In the worst case, the ROM will not boot or you can’t get data working.  For getting data working, make sure you set APN, see our APN guide.  If you get status 7 error, you may need to remove the asserts, also see our Status 7 Error Fix guide.
