BeanStalk ROM for Galaxy Note 4! [Lollipop/ASOP]

For this week’s ROM of the week, check out the BeanStalk ROM ported by XDA user Mod57!

Based on latest Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, BeanStalk is an AOSP ROM (What is AOSP?) that can be installed on T-Mobile, Canadian Note 4, SM-N910F, and probably any other international Note 4 with Qualcomm CPU.  If you are looking for a top-notch AOSP Lollipop ROM that’s going to turn your Note 4 into a super Nexus device, BeanStalk ROM can do that as it also comes with a ton of customization.

Now, since this is an AOSP ROM, you will lose all of your Samsung TouchWiz features, if this is a concern to you (perhaps because you need to use your Gear VR or have an LED or S-View case), you may want to consider another TouchWiz ROM like BobCat ROM.  Also, you can make a backup of your current TouchWiz ROM, try this ROM, then revert back if you need TouchWiz features.

Out of the box, the BeanStalk ROM offers the latest Android 5.0.2 Lollipop performance (with Antutu Benchmarks well above 50,000 mark.  Aside from benchmarks, BeanStalk ROM is super zippy and fast.

Inside BeanStalk options in settings, you will find a vast number of great customization including  Gesture Anywhere (allows you to add gesture shortcuts), App Circle Bar (nice handy app shortcuts that magically appear on the side), PIE Control (another nifty shortcut), LCD Density changer, Viper4Android, custom system animations, and much more.

Best of all, everything works out of the box, even 4K video recording and above 32GB ex-fat micro-SD card support.  If you are looking for a highly-customizable AOSP ROM that’s running super-fast with great battery life, definitely check this one out and do let me know what you think!

Download BeanStalk ROM for Galaxy Note 4 (for SM-N910F, T-Mobile SM-N910T, and Canadian SM-N910W8) – I’ve modified and removed asserts so you can install on international Note 4s, should work fine.)

Download Android 5.0 Gapps (use standard)
