Well, after pulling out my hair for almost a week, I finally was able to get it working fully with a repeatable step-by-step tutorial. This basically involved installing Lollipop OK1 modem/bootloader and also re-installing stock SMS APK file from a stock deodexed Sprint Marshmallow ROM. After that, everything works including 4G LTE data, mobile hotspot, and SMS/MMS.
The steps are pretty simple, install the ROM, install Vitamin kernel, install SuperSU, and install HighOnAndroid N910P APN/SMS/Data Fix then install the Lollipop OK1 modem/bootloader using ODIN. If you don’t know how to do this, you can follow the step-by-step YouTube video tutorial above.
*Note – SMS currently works but MMS is broke for Sprint Note 4. For Verizon Note 4, same thing for default messaging app but if you install 3rd party apps like Google Messenger, MMS will work.
