My favorite custom ROM for my Note 3 is finally now available also for Galaxy Note 4, available for the international SM-N910F and the Sprint SM-N910P. This is a really nice custom ROM that I can vouch for the developer as I have been using it as my main daily driver since couple years ago with my Galaxy S4.
Based on latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat TouchWiz firmware, BobCat ROM brings you a nice level of customization along with custom “BobCat” theme. For the Sprint version, it is “not ported” and is built on Sprint firmware.
The main customization comes through its BobCat ROM Control app, which allows you to change your battery icon, customize status bar, enable Air WakeUp, boost phone speaker sound, and some more. The ROM also comes with additional customization through its Xposed modules including Xposed App Settings, CrappaLinks, DVFS Disabler, DoubleTapToSleep, Greenify, Network Speed Indicator, and Xposed LED Control. And yes, WiFi hotspot is unlocked for those of you who need it on the go.
Overall, BobCat ROM is a great custom ROM for both beginners and expert flasholics so definitely give this guy a test drive this week(end) and do let me know what you think!
*Note – For Sprint version, install ROM, reboot and sign in, then reboot into recovery and install theme, then reboot!
